sorry for the non-ham related items that seem to keep getting posted here, I have now enabled the anti-spam filter here, which means you will now be required to enter a captcha code when you submit an entry to the guestbook, I hope this doesn't discourage you from making an entry here, we enjoy hearing from other hams and poeple interested in the hobby!

I passed the technician test and I am waiting to explore what I can do at 2-meters. I love the idea of being able to listen and now talk to some people that this part of my license allows. Being disabled did not stop me, thankfully I was able to pass the test.

I am a veteran radioman (RM2) USCG. I had enjoyed communicating with merchant vessels at the time of my active duty and also had communicated with amateur ham operators a little. I am interested in getting my FCC lisence and getting involved again. Please email me with any help information you may be able to give. In the meantime, I'll be exploring your website.
Thanks, Gail

Looks like your club is on the way to a nice club website. Been thru Sulphur Springs many times. Will have to try the .68 machine. Good luck with the repeater site repairs.
